Every year our school takes part in all regional school sport competitions and it has achieved some notable victories. In 1996, Polyxeni Vareli won 1st place in the 2000m cross-country race. In the same year, as well as the next one, the girls? basketball team won 1st place. In 1998, the boys, football team won 2nd place. In 2003, the girls? basketball team got the gold medal once again. In 2005, the boys? football team won the football cup, while in 2006, the school?s team won 1st place in the cross-country race. The school?s students have achieved many 1st places mainly in the javelin, the shot put, and track sport, in which the exceptional performance of three students in particular, allowed them to take place in the Pan-Hellenic sport competitions in consecutive years. Finally, in 2011, Georgia Daliani won the gold medal in the cross-country race, Thalia Oikonomou won 3rd place in the same race, and the boys? team won the 2nd place, a performance which led to 1st place for the school?s team.
Every year, apart from the regional sport competitions, the school organizes inter-school games, in which students compete according to the class they are in.
